Welded Tube

Welded tube is a type of welded steel tube with a smaller diameter and thinner wall thickness. It is usually made using processes such as electric welding and high-frequency welding, and has economic and production efficiency advantages that seamless steel pipes do not have. Its internal and external surfaces are usually treated to ensure smoothness, flatness, and precise dimensions. Welded pipes are widely used in fields such as automobiles, machinery, instruments, and medical equipment.

Huxin has 35 years of experience in manufacturing and management, and through years of development, has a mature team of engineers and technical personnel. The factory is equipped with a full set of production, inspection and Laboratory equipment, such as CNC bending machine, automatic welding machine, eddy current ultrasonic integrated machine, etc.

Huxin's box annealing furnace(12m) makes the annealing of tubes more complete and can also meet the annealing of special materials, with a maximum temperature of up to 1200 ℃.

The Difference Between Seamless and Welded Tube

Seamless and welded tube are two common types of steel tube, which have significant differences in manufacturing process, performance, and application.

Manufacturing Process
Seamless tube is made by processing a whole section of steel billet through processes such as hot rolling or cold drawing, without welded joints. Welded tube is formed by welding steel strips or plates into a tubular form through a welding process, with certain weld seams.

Performance
Seamless tube have a more uniform organizational structure and higher strength due to the absence of welds. The welding seams of welded tube may lead to local stress concentration, reducing some strength and corrosion resistance.

Application Fields
Due to the high strength and excellent corrosion resistance of seamless tube, they are widely used in fields that require high pressure, high temperature, and high precision. Welded tube, due to their high production efficiency and low cost, are commonly used in general industrial, construction, bridge and other occasions.
